Islamabad, Khanpur and Ayubia Tour – 3 Days
Day 1: Arrival, Taxila Museum, Khanpur Dam, and Islamabad Sightseeing
- Arrive at the Meeting Point in Islamabad where you will be greeted by one of our representatives.
- Visit Taxila Museum, home to artefacts from the 1st century and an opportunity to explore the lost Ghandaran dynasty.
- Proceed to Khanpur Dam, located just outside Islamabad, offering a range of water sports activities, including boat rides, cliff diving, jet-skiing, and parasailing against the dam’s striking blue waters.
- In the evening, return to Islamabad for sightseeing, including the Faisal Mosque, nestled at the foot of the Margalla Hills with strong Islamic cultural influences.
- End the day with dinner at Monal Restaurant in Pir Sohawa, offering stunning panoramic views across Islamabad.
- Overnight stay in Islamabad.
Day 2: Ayubia National Park, Pipeline Trek, and Patriata Chair Lift
- Depart for Ayubia National Park, a hill station surrounded by pine trees and home to over 203 species of native birds and animals.
- Begin the Pipeline Trek, exploring lush forests and stunning landscapes, with the opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy activities like mountain biking and horseback riding.
- On the trek, enjoy views of Mukeshpuri Peak, where you can take photos and immerse yourself in the rich wilderness.
- Take a Patriata Chair Lift ride, situated in the highest point of the Murree Hills, for panoramic views of forested ridges, intersected valleys, and terraced slopes.
- Overnight stay in Murree.
Day 3: Murree Exploration and Departure
- After breakfast, explore Murree, a scenic hill station and resort town located on the border of Azad Kashmir and Punjab.
- Stroll through Mall Road, lined with local vendors offering handicrafts and regional works.
- Visit Kashmir Point, where you can stop for tea and enjoy the beautiful views of the Kashmir mountains.
- With its lush green hills, pleasant weather, and serene beauty, Murree is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and natural beauty.
- In the afternoon, head back to Islamabad for the journey to the Departure Point, marking the end of the trip.
