Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at the Meeting Point in Islamabad where you will be received by one of our representatives. From here we will make our way to Taxila Museum which houses artefacts dating back to the 1st century and where you can unfold the chapters of the lost Ghandaran dynasty. From there, we will leave for Khanpur Dam, which is just outside the capital and offers excellent water sports activities for adventure enthusiasts. Guests will enjoy a boat ride followed by the option of cliff-diving, jet-skiing and parasailing against the striking blue waters of the dam. In the evening, we will return to Islamabad to see some of the sights the capital has to offer such as the Faisal Mosque, which is nestled at the foot of the Margalla Hills and inspired by strong Islamic cultural characteristics. We will finish the day’s events by heading to Pir Sohawa to enjoy dinner at the famous Monal restaurant which offers stunning panoramic views across Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 2

Today, we will leave for Murree, a hill station and mountain resort destination which is situated on the border between Azad Kashmir and Punjab. Here, we will wander through Mall Road, a busy street full of local vendors with a huge array of handicrafts and regional works on offer. This hill station is packed with enriching beauty with its lush green hills, its pleasant weather all year round and is a much needed retreat for those looking for a break away from city life in search for a treat for the soul. Next, we will take the Patriata chair lift, situated in the highest point of the Murree Hills and which offers a bird’s eye view of high forested ridges, intersected valleys and terraced slopes. Overnight stay in Murree.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will make our way to Naran stopping off at Kashmir Point where we will enjoy tea and take in the beautiful sights of the mountains of Kashmir. As we make our way to Naran, we will be passing through the Ayubia National Park, a hill station surrounded by coniferous pine trees which offer refuge to over 203 species of birds and animals that are native to this part of Pakistan. Overnight stay in Naran.

Day 4

Following breakfast, we will head out to Saiful Muluk Lake, which we will reach after a thrilling jeep ride from Naran. Fondly coined as the “Lake of Fairies” this lake is situated at an elevation of over 3,000 metres above sea level and tells an Egyptian fairytale of yesteryears making it as enchanting as it is picturesque. This piece of heaven is situated under the shadows of the mighty Malika Parbat with its snow-capped peaks and has a number of activities on offer such as boating and horse riding. With the added option of exploring nearby caves, today’s events will delight any adventure enthusiast. In the evening we will head back to Naran. Overnight stay in Naran.

Day 5

Departing early we will make our way to the elevated Babusar Top, which we will reach via one of the most famous hairpinned roads in the world. Making our way through the lush green valleys of Kaghan, our next stop will be at Lulusar Lake to take in the crystal clear waters of this natural unspoilt landscape. This beauty spot is less frequented by tourists and is considered by many as a hidden gem thanks to its serene surroundings. Nature is everywhere and here you will find a small “oasis” amidst the majestic mountains and alpine meadows. In the evening, we will head back to Naran. Overnight stay in Naran.

Day 6

Following breakfast, we will make our way to the Departure Point in Islamabad. On the journey we will be taking in the staggering mountain scenery, the rough terrains of the road and the welcoming people in the neighbouring villages of Abbottabad, Haripur and Balakot before our trip comes to an end.
