Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Meeting Point in Islamabad where you will be received by one of our representatives. From here we will make our way to Taxila Museum which houses artefacts dating back to the 1st century and where you can unfold the chapters of the lost Ghandaran dynasty. From there, we will leave for Khanpur Dam, which is just outside the capital and offers excellent water sports activities for adventure enthusiasts. Guests will enjoy a boat ride followed by the option of cliff-diving, jet-skiing and parasailing against the striking blue waters of the dam. In the evening, we will return to Islamabad to see some of the sights the capital has to offer such as the Faisal Mosque, which is nestled at the foot of the Margalla Hills and inspired by strong Islamic cultural characteristics. We will finish the day’s events by heading to Pir Sohawa to enjoy dinner at the famous Monal restaurant, which offers stunning panoramic views across Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 2

Today, we will leave for Ayubia National Park, a hill station surrounded by coniferous pine trees which offers refuge to over 203 species of birds and animals that are native to this part of Pakistan. From the park we will begin exploring the Pipeline Trek taking in the lush dense forest, its stunning landscape and the ecological beauty of this park. With a wide range of activities available such as mountain biking, trekking, wildlife sighting and horseback riding there is something for everyone. Whilst trekking, we will catch a glimpse of the Mukeshpuri Peak on our travels, which will provide the perfect opportunity to stop, take some photographs and allow your senses to become accustomed to this rich wilderness. Next, we will experience an aerial view of Ayubia when taking the chair lifts in Patriata, situated in the highest point of the Murree Hills and which offers a panoramic scenery of high forested ridges, intersected valleys and terraced slopes. Overnight stay in Murree.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will head into Murree, a hill station and mountain resort destination, which is situated on the border between Azad Kashmir and Punjab. Here, we will wander through Mall Road, a busy street full of local vendors with a huge array of handicrafts and regional works on offer before moving on to Kashmir Point where we will stop for tea and take in the beautiful sights of the mountains of Kashmir. This hill station is packed with enriching beauty with its lush green hills, its pleasant weather all year round and is a much needed retreat for those looking for a break from city life and in search for a treat for the soul. In the afternoon we will head back to the Departure Point in Islamabad where our trip will come to an end.
